On Saturday, November 4, 2000 we had a "Scotland Night" at Scotsville School of Crafts an evening of slides and photos from the Spring 2000 Textile Tour of Scotland, presentations to County Council and the Lake Ainslie Weavers and Craft Guild of gifts received on the Scotland Tour, music and traditional refreshments. All those who were on the Textile Tour of Scotland were invited to attend this event, organized by Eileen MacNeil and Verna MacMillan.

John Cotton, Director of Inverness County Recreation/Tourism, graciously accepted the book entitled "Skye" as well as the "Quaich", a pewter Friendship Cup engraved by the Highland Council, Scotland on behalf of Warden A. J. MacDougall. This "Quaich" had been presented to Eileen and Verna by Councillor Allan Beaton.

Christine Hayes was pleased to accept the knitted, fine wool shawl on behalf of the Lake Ainslie Weavers and Craft Guild, which had been given to Verna and Eileen by Isobel McCallum-Scott, near Inverness, Scotland.

Polly Davis accepted the beautiful, hand dyed, felted slippers on behalf of the Lake Ainslie Weavers and Craft Guild. These were presented to Verna and Eileen by Sheila Bates of Croft 7, near Inverness, Scotland.

Greta Osmond was pleased to accept the linen towel and sample hand spun and hand dyed yarns which were presented to Verna and Eileen by Evelyn Duncan and the Grampian Weavers Guild, Aberdeen, Scotland.
